I am an old Modjeska Canyon friend of Mike's. He was good friends with my oldest brother. In the past year or so, Mike and I got in touch with each other and caught up a little bit. I came across an old email from him on Tuesday the 19th and ask when he was going to retire. He sent me one back tonight 8-22-08, saying that they are already gone. He told me to follow their journey on this blog. It looks like you guys are already having a blast. I am not sure what the deal is with the John Wayne cutout, but I am sure it is a family inside joke, whatever it is...it is great. I will pass on the blog address to my Mom and Wayne. Mike after you get back, I would like to hook up for lunch.....if you come back. On your travels, I do not know if you have a plan ( I wouldn't ) but I would highly recommend ( if you have not been to these places ).
ReplyDeleteCrater Lake, Yellowstone, Glacier Park ( the red bus tours are awesome ), the jet boat ride up the Rogue river out of Gold Beach Oregon ( the blue boats ). Talk about jealous, I am. Be well and we will see you in the blog.
